You will coordinate with support staff, third parties, and service providers to provide robust, secure, cost-effective, and stable servers and application hosting, both in on-prem and cloud data centers. This is a hands-on role.
Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or High school diploma/equivalent or 5+ of relevant experience
• ITIL v3 Foundations or later certification is preferred
• Certifications, such as AWS Associate/Professional, RHCSA/RHCE, or similar are preferred
• 3+ years of relevant experience in Linux and Windows Systems Engineering on-premise and cloud-based solutions.
• Experience with virtualization tools (VMWare ESX), Backup/Recovery platforms (Rubrik), monitoring platforms (SolarWinds), Log Analysis (Sumologic or Splunk), and Storage Platforms (iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NAS)
• Well versed in Active Directory (2019 or later) & LDAP, Domain Controllers, etc.
• Experience in RDBMS platforms (MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres) as DBA is a nice to have

Duties & Responsibilities
- Work as part of the Systems Engineering team to deliver operational support and tactical projects in a reliable and predicable manner.
- Ensure ongoing monitoring and backup of servers utilizing SolarWinds Orion, AWS Cloud Watch, and Rubrik.
- Coordinate provisioning of new on-premise and cloud-based servers and storage utilizing virtualization frameworks including VMWare ESX and Amazon CloudFormation.
- Produce documentation, create and maintain system diagrams representing future and current running environments.
- Coordinate the lifecycle of servers and storage including deployment, patching, upgrades, and retirement.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes such as Asset Management, Change Management, Incident Management, and Problem Management.
- Oversee the work of third parties who perform work on behalf of the Infrastructure Team to achieve our mission.
