Systems Engineer

MAXISIQ is seeking a Systems Engineer with a TSSCI Full Scope Poly with network operations and scripting experience to work as part of a collaborative, multidiscipline team in support of the US Government.  This is a full-time position located near Reston VA.  Ready to start? Clearance:

• Current TS/SCI with FSP (Full Scope Poly) required to start

Skills & Qualifications:

• Ten (10) years of related experience.
• Must have knowledge of Linux virtual networking: bridges, bonds, veths, socat, network namespaces.
• Must have knowledge of Linux scripting: Ansible, Puppet, BASH or python.
• Must have knowledge of Cisco Switches: VLANs, vPC, port-channels.
• Must have knowledge of Cisco Routers: basic routing, preferred knowledge of EIGRP and IPSEC
• Knowledge of NFS and NetApp file servers
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent analysis and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently as well as within small and large groups
• Capable of preparing and presenting briefings 
• Experience with Microsoft Office product line, including Microsoft Access
• Travel may apply (up to 10%); subject to needs of the business
