•Application Knowledge
o Specialise in one Application and the integration around it.
o Keep up to date on the features in the new versions/release of the application
o Work collaboratively with PM's and Vendor to ensure the defects
o Specialise in batch process around the application
o Design the entire batch schedule for the application considering the impacts to its upstream and downstream.
•Application Installation
o Able to create custom install guide incorporating the extensions performed to enable business ask.
o Able to Lead/guide colleague’s during application installation
o Understand issue around installation by looking at the logs and lead the team in resolving it.
•Application Configuration and Setup
o Work with PM and business stakeholder in defining the application configuration.
o Will explain on how a configuration change can impact the application behaviour.
•Application Upgrade
o Will come up with an approach and test plan and own it until the same is implemented in production by working with SDE's and PM's in upgrading the application to a newer version considering the customizations and Extensions existing in the current version and business impacts.
o Understand the dependency of the application with other systems and the impact
•Patch Installation
o Will review and confirm on the approach
o Will define the framework for automated patch installation •Requirement & Build
o Gather what and why requirements from PM review and present on how the requirement be delivered by the application without impacting the current design and integration to other systems.
o Understand the requirements define the process flow work with PM/Vendor/SDE to ensure the requirement is met at the same time ensuring the changes are not impacting the application upgrade at later point.
•Data Analysis
o Specialise at the overall data model and have a view of the custom data models that are introduced
and all documented and stored at a central repository for future reference.
o Define the framework for automatic application monitoring and notify mechanism in case of any
suspect for the team to analyse.
o Guide the team with data analysis and application monitoring.
•Test
o Able to define the automation test framework.
o Guide the team in automating the test cases.
o Work collaboratively with PM's and Vendor to ensure the defects raised are fixed with no impact to upstream and downstream.
•Application Security
o Specialise in security mechanism provided by the application and data model behind it.
o Work collaboratively with the Security and Infra team to ensure the application is secured from any security related attack.
o Will define the framework for automated security related patch installation
