What You ‘ll Be Doing:

  • Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) of complex systems, such as ICT & network infrastructure, tactical communication systems (land, naval, air), 5G and satellite systems.
  • Physical, Logical, Functional architecture design and modeling.
  • Requirements engineering and management
  • Coordination of design, development (prototyping), integration and testing/verification activities over the complete system engineering lifecycle.
  • Preparation of system documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • 5-year Diploma/Integrated Master in Electrical & Computer Engineering (with Major in Communications preferably) or University Degree with a MSc in Communications or Networking/Data Communications.
  • Broad systems engineering experience (e.g. system architecture and design, systems documentation, system requirements, CONOPS, systems integration and verification).
  • Knowledge and experience with various wired and wireless communication systems, IP/Virtual networks, protocols & interfaces, cybersecurity issues & policies.

 

Desired:

  • Experience using MBSE tools to model complex systems and processes using SysML, UML, e.g. Enterprise Architect.
  • Experience with engineering requirements management tools, e.g. DOORS.
  • Experience with analytical and simulation tools, e.g. MATLAB, Simulink.
  • Experience in design, development, integration, testing and verification of communication systems and networks (classified at different security levels).
  • Experience in defense projects and products.
  • Knowledge of standardization agreement (STANAG), military standards, interoperability.
