We are seeking a Systems Engineer for a Direct Hire/Permanent role in the Denver Tech Center. This role will be located in Englewood, CO, and will need to work onsite/ in-office Monday through Friday in a highly collaborative environment (no remote options available).
In this enterprise role you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring, maintenance, and repair of all IT Systems. This responsibility includes, but is not limited to, Server Hardware, Windows Servers, VMWare, Citrix, Cloud Services, SAN and NAS storage, MS SQL Server, DB/2, and Microsoft 365.
- Perform system analysis and design necessary to install systems and still maintain high levels of performance and uptime in an enterprise environment.
- Interact between complex systems to maintain high-security levels and data protection techniques as required in our highly regulated market.
- Recommend, review and implement new technology solutions.
- Be able to design, implement, and troubleshoot Enterprise-class solutions.
- Maintain minimum security baseline requirements for all IT systems.
- Maintaining a clean and organized Server room, and work area.
- Respond to network, server, and application outages. Communicating these outages to management and seek assistance to resolve the problems in a timely manner.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- College degree preferred (will consider experience in lieu of degree)
- 5-8 years of experience in/with the following
- Enterprise Infrastructure or Data Center team
- Redhat LINUX and clustering
- Windows Server design, administration, installation, automation and support
- Enterprise storage solutions
- Scripting technologies
- SQL or DB/2 technologies
- Virtualization design, implementations and upgrades
- Enterprise IT Security principles
- Citrix products
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, including mailbox management, database management, high availability, clustering, security, and anti-spam products.
