Responsibilities:

 

  • Analyze customer process requirements and develop innovative equipment/ system designs and solutions.
  • Lead the creation of product requirements and functional specification documents.
  • Technical examination and collaboration with the engineering team to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with customer needs.
  • Support the sales team by providing technical expertise during the sales cycle.
  • Support sales managers, agencies and customers in technically complex projects and provide technical training.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and pilot plant testing both in-house and on site as well as commissioning at the customer’s facilities.
  • Prepare detailed proposals and sales documents, including technical specifications, cost estimates, and project timelines.
  • Develop new system layouts for new applications and accounts along with providing technical assistance on all existing/integrated systems.
  • Optimization and coordination of all market launch activities (in cooperation with R&D, Sales and Production)
  • Development of technical sales strategies/business plans
  • Responsible for market launch concepts including marketing tools, product and price information as well as service and training concepts.
  • Participate in conferences and exhibitions.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis as well as assessment of product requirements.
  • Degree in Process or Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in process engineering and associated process equipment in the field of material suppliers/ battery production (e.g. Project/Process Engineer at customer site).
  • Experience in material processing and/or battery cell production, ideally experience with drying processes, mixing, dispersing.
  • Strong understanding of process technology principles, plant design, and industrial systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
  • Technical acumen and the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites
