[Switzerland] Intern, Public Affairs

With the expansion of the public affairs pillar within Europe, only one person is currently managing the increasing demands of our public affairs strategy, encompassing both regional and country-level initiatives. A dedicated Public Affairs Intern will play a crucial role in supporting key projects, enhancing capacity for new initiatives, and contributing to the strategic development of our public affairs activities. The internship is expected to last 6 months.

Responsibilities 

  • Assist with ongoing public affairs projects
  • Conduct stakeholder mappings, support outreach efforts, and track engagement activities
  • Help prepare for and contribute to cross-functional meetings
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new public affairs initiatives and refine existing strategies
  • Lead smaller projects independently
  • Draft communications for internal articles, social media, and other channels to promote public affairs activities
  • Support other day-to-day business needs.
  • Currently pursuing a master’s degree in European Studies, International Relations, Public Policy, Public Health, or a related field
  • Fluent English (verbal/written), knowledge of other European languages a plus
  • Knowledgeable in European public policy and the structure and functions of the European Union, knowledge of health policy a plus  
  • Strong oral and written communications skills, being able to communicate with stakeholders on all levels
  • Good Microsoft Office skills including strong competencies creating presentations with MS PowerPoint
  • Being open to a rapid development curve and consistently meeting deadlines.
