What you will do:
The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Marketing, International will lead eXp’s global marketing strategy, driving growth, agent acquisition, and brand development. Reporting primarily to the International team and using the advice process to collaborate with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of eXp Realty, the SVP will manage key marketing operations such as HubSpot-based CRM, drip campaigns, newsletters, and event management. Additionally, the SVP will focus on building the personal brand of eXp’s International Leadership Team across social channels, while supporting global growth initiatives, unique selling propositions (USPs), and the Luxury division.

Key Responsibilities:
Global Marketing Leadership: Lead the international marketing team and oversee International marketing roles in. Foster real-time collaboration through virtual environments like metaverse-style war rooms in eXp.World and Discord, driving key marketing decisions.
Consultation with the CMO: Use the advice process to consult with the CMO on major strategic decisions, ensuring that international marketing efforts align with eXp’s global brand standards and regional needs.
HubSpot Marketing Hub, CRM, Drip Campaigns, Newsletters & Marketing Analytics: Oversee the development and execution of HubSpot-based Marketing Hub and CRM systems to manage international agent relationships. Utilize HubSpot’s automation features to manage social media, drip campaigns, newsletters, and personalized marketing touchpoints that enhance engagement and support agent recruitment. Additionally, lead the measurement, analysis, and reporting of marketing performance metrics, including ROI (Return on Investment) for all global campaigns. Leverage data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies, ensuring that all marketing initiatives contribute to both short-term and long-term business goals. Regularly present ROI reports to stakeholders, providing informed recommendations for continuous improvement in agent acquisition, brand development efforts, and events.
Event Management & Recruitment: Lead international marketing events and recruit individuals with a marketing mindset through internal talent marketplaces or external sources. Build local marketing expertise across regions to support eXp’s growth.
Personal Brand Building & Social Media Engagement: Actively build and manage a personal brand on key social platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and future International eXp channels. Drive engagement across both established and new social media channels through shorts, reels, and other dynamic content that showcases your role as a visible leader at eXp. Leverage your personal marketing expertise to create content that resonates with the global eXp community. Foster a reputation for being a leader that others look up to by consistently demonstrating a mentoring and training pillar through social media engagement. Your presence should inspire agents and staff through regular workshops, webinars, and social content that highlights your mentorship, training, and leadership.
Training & Development: Conduct regular classes and workshops for individuals in marketing roles, helping them leverage HubSpot and other tools effectively, whether marketing is their primary or secondary role. Also doing regular training for agents on marketing best practices for their individual businesses.
Play a key role in promoting eXp’s unique selling propositions (USPs), including the cloud-based model, competitive cap and split, revenue share, and equity programs. Additionally, support other USPs such as HomeHunter.global, helping establish and grow the eXp Luxury division as a premier global luxury real estate brand. Work closely with country leaders to refine and enhance their Agent Value Proposition (AVP), ensuring that agents in those countries have a compelling and well-rounded value proposition to attract and recruit agents. This includes aligning the AVP with regional market needs and eXp’s overall global strategy.
Automation, Citizen Development, & Marketing Tech Innovation: Act as a citizen developer, using low-code/no-code platforms to automate processes and streamline marketing operations. Lead the use of HubSpot and other automation tools to optimize the marketing stack and prototype digital assets like websites and marketing materials for local adaptation. Engage in the Innovation Hub to stay updated on the latest in marketing technology, both as a learner and mentor.
Documenting Circles & Roles in Holaspirit: Document the marketing team's roles and circles in Holaspirit to provide the organization with clear visibility into who handles specific marketing functions. This will allow quick identification of key contacts and ensure seamless communication and collaboration across the organization.
Real-Time Engagement & Support: Be available for real-time business conversations with country leaders, agents, and prospective agents. Actively support growth initiatives and marketing strategies across platforms like Discord, social media, and eXp.World. Play a key role in setting up and managing a Marketing War Room within eXp International HQ in eXp.World, where team members can collaborate in real-time, share screens, and drive key international marketing initiatives.
Cultural Sensitivity & Localization: Lead culturally relevant marketing campaigns that resonate with local markets. Fluency in multiple languages (e.g., French, German, Italian, Portuguese) is highly valued.
OKR Setting & Tracking and NPS Integration: Collaborate with the International team and the broader Marketing organization to set and monitor OKRs that align with eXp’s international growth objectives. Utilize Net Promoter Score (NPS) data as a key metric to evaluate agent satisfaction and refine marketing strategies. Ensure that NPS feedback is incorporated into the decision-making process to continuously improve agent and client experiences, aligning with eXp’s commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Engagement with Leadership Team: Actively engage with the International Leadership Team, attending regular sprint planning, stand-ups, check-ins, OKR development sessions, and in-real-life (IRL) Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs). Participate in major eXp events, both online and in-person, around the world. Be prepared to travel up to 75% of the year to support international growth initiatives, leadership meetings, and agent recruitment events.

Proven leadership in global marketing, with experience managing remote, distributed teams.
Expertise in HubSpot CRM, Marketing Suite and Sales Hub for CRM, marketing automation, and customer engagement strategies.
Data-Driven Marketing & ROI Analysis: Proven ability to analyze and report on marketing ROI, leveraging tools like HubSpot CRM, Google Analytics, and other marketing tech stacks. Familiarity with adaptive budgeting frameworks and agile marketing practices.
Multilingual abilities (French, German, Italian, Portuguese) are a strong advantage.
