The role will be the partner to APAC Chair of Health sector as well as market health sector leaders.
Be the senior health strategy voice for Edelman across clients in the region’s fast growing health care sector, partnering with client, specialist, and creative leads to produce world-class work. Be an active and contributing member of the regional strategy team. Attract world class health strategy talent to the organization.
Responsibilities
- The Work – Partner with the creative and health sector specialist leadership of the business to help create better work and to help sell better work. Be part of generating relevant insights, crystal clear strategies, and committed to generating breakthrough work that builds trust for clients.
- Clients - Be a trusted confidante to our clients. Be the person our clients turn to for advice, be sought out for your opinion and input on the marketing and comms problems that clients find hardest to solve
- Partnership. Be able to partner with our business lead at local and regional level to help unlock client growth. Help identify new business problems and opportunities for our clients, and help the team create and deliver new solutions that the client has not thought of.
- Leadership – Strategy is a fast-growing high-performance team in the region. Be able to find and attract the best talent and help the team grow across APAC
Requirements
- Approximately 10-15 years’ experience in strategic marketing or communications roles, either agency or client side.
- Precision and clarity in writing and communication style, with the ability to make complex problems simple and easy to understand
- Examples of strategic leadership on great work from problem through to insights, ideas, and results
- Bravery of thinking, infinite curiosity, and willingness to generate new ideas every day.
- Sensibility to know what clients want, versus what they need and the ability to navigate successfully between the two
- Flexible and willing enough to work with a diverse group of specialists including public affairs, corporate reputation and crisis, employee engagement in addition to strong creative partnership credentials
