Our Sustainability Department is now looking for a Sustainability & Global Carbon Manager in either Germany or Portugal.

Responsibilities:

  • Data collection of scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions for the annual Sustainability Report;
  • Maintain and improve data collection processes and digital tools for scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions;
  • Project management and systematic alignment with a large number of internal and external stakeholders;
  • Support in the development of the global sustainability strategy and our CSRD compliant sustainability report;
  • Develop carbon reduction strategies on a Global and European level;
  • Establish processes, tools and frameworks for the global Sustainability KPI tracker and maintaining it, as well according to new reporting requirements, e.g. CSRD;
  • Contribute to fueling and achieving Marley Spoon corporate sustainability targets;
  • Actively promote knowledge and awareness of emerging trends, programs, and issues, on sustainability topics;
  • Build expertise on sustainability trends, standards, testing methods and connect to the adhesive technologies and applications targeting relevant market trends and industries.

Requirements

  • Advanced data analytical skills;
  • Strong analytical mindset and understanding how to prepare, analyse and read data in Excel and other tools;
  • Planning and project management skills;
  • Passionate about sustainability, environmental impact, and climate change
  • Degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainable Resource Management or similar;
  • Ideally experience in a role in a related industry;
  • Ideally knowledge of GHG protocol, carbon accounting and Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.
