Maintain surveillance for designated areas and activities.
Observe irregular activity as required.
Operate all surveillance equipment, including, but not limited to, monitors, switches, computers, controllers and cameras as assigned.
Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV (Close Circuit Television), PC Workstations, DVR, NVR, printers, switches and other computerized equipment.
Operate surveillance software applications including but not limited to Micro Soft Excel, Micro Soft Word and i-View systems.
Provide CCTV and personal observations of all departments and applicable job functions to assure that all company policies and procedures are met with compliance.
Monitor all security and employee areas to ensure conduct of all operations is in accordance with Policies and Procedures and no threat to any employee safety.
Report and log all incidents of suspicious, criminal or unusual activity and suspicious persons to the security & fleet supervisor daily.
For any observed incidents inside the company of conflict, contact security supervisor & Guard in the area to resolve; if need be handling the resolution immediately if threat is imminent.
Maintain the confidentiality of all privileged and sensitive information.
Maintain security of the surveillance room and equipment by understanding policies and procedures of who may access the surveillance room and/or surveillance equipment.
Maintain the following logs: entrances/departures log from surveillance room, video archive library log, malfunction/repair log and daily activity log.
Contact Police Department if needed to report irregular activities or threats.
Verify and account for surveillance records, reports and camera views (mapping).
Communicate via two-way radio with co-workers or other personnel.
Maintain current knowledge of camera locations and viewing angles.
Requirements
Diploma in Business Admin or any related field.
Minimum of 1-year experience in surveillance, security or police arena required.
