This individual is responsible for assisting in planning, coordinating and controlling daily activities of Laboratory Support services to assure appropriate delivery of care. Prepares schedules, resolves staffing problems, coordinates training activities of staff and clinical students. Responsible for maintaining inventories for section. Assists in interviewing and evaluating staff. Investigates occurrences and provides written report to director. This individual shall maintain a healing environment for employees and patients with a spirit of caring and concern as incorporated in the philosophy of Catholic Healthcare while performing all job functions.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in phlebotomy required.
Previous experience in laboratory specimen processing preferred.
Previous supervisory/charge experience preferred.
Exceptional communication skills.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Softlab and Meditech systems and Microsoft Office software.
