Equal Education Partners are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants to support children within various schools across South and West Wales.

We have full-time and part-time roles available, starting as soon as possible.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be required to:

  • Assist the main class teacher 
  • Support pupils’ learning needs, either working with groups of pupils or in a 1:1 setting
  • Safeguard the children in your care
  • Set up equipment and help prepare the classroom for lessons
  • Inspire pupils to achieve their learning outcomes

Requirements

  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills are required.
  • Candidates might have completed Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications in Supporting Teaching & Learning, Childcare or other similar subjects.
  • Equally, strong candidates might have prior experience working with children and/or relevant transferable skills and experience from a range of different sectors e.g. care, sports, coaching, theatre & performing arts and other areas.
