As Supply Manager for Retail Equipment at IKEA Components, you are highly involved in creating sustainable customer value for IKEA by leading and securing availability at lowest total cost for our products and optimize utilization of the range. Working in Supply Chain at IKEA Components we have the responsibility of creating global demand, supply and capacity plans, used by multiple stakeholders to secure availability. IKEA Components has a unique role in IKEA, developing and supplying retail equipment used in the Stores and other IKEA units, such as staff clothing, trolleys etc. Being part of securing availability is therefore critical to enable IKEA product sales, as well as IKEA being able to expand into new markets with new customer meeting points.
The assignment includes to secure, Demand, Supply and capacity planning, monitoring and balancing inventory and supply of all products end to end. More specifically, the assignment includes to be:

The preferable candidate has experience from leading, developing and transforming both business and people in a complex and changing world. Preferably we are looking for a candidate with several years of experience within supply chain in a leading position. You have a good knowledge of Demand, Supply, Capacity planning, global logistics flows and the interdependencies in between to reach full customer perceived availability at lowest total cost. You have proven success in leading people and processes within Supply Chain. You are able to see connections and understand actions and effects.
You are highly motivated to lead & develop business and people and you get energy from working both on a strategic and an operational/tactical level. You have the power to engage and motivate the many co-workers to work towards common goals. We are in the middle of major changes in ways of working, where your innovative thinking and experience from business and organizational transformation incl. change mgmt. will be beneficial.
You have experience from supply chain or other relevant experience.
