Supply Chain Quality - Mechanicals

You’ll be working with the Supply Chain team.

This team runs on improving supplier processes, PPAPs, RCA, CAPA and coffee (with suppliers of course). The team has an infectious passion for building deep and engaging relationships with our supplier partners to establish best in class quality benchmarks.

What you will do

In this role, you will own the Supplier Quality function for metals, plastic & rubber category, delivering on all aspects of Supplier Quality.

Responsibilities

• New Supplier qualification & Audits: Driving supplier assessments to ensure suppliers have the acceptable quality standards & are compliant to statutory regulations
• Setup/Improve checklists/Templates for periodic reviews on Process Files, DFx Inputs, FMEAs, Tolerance Analyses
• Lead PPAP, Continuous improvements, RCA & CAPA implementation at supplier end
• Providing technical advice and guidance to suppliers to reduce defect rates
• Align Suppliers to Exponent Energy's quality vision by constantly communicating Exponent’s expectations on quality
• Liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless production 

The ideal candidate requires

• Relevant experience of Supplier Quality Assurance - 3 to 5 years
• Structured problem-solving, detail orientation, and customer-first attitude
• Data-driven decision making
