- GENERAL Mission & REQUIREMENTS
- As part of a vehicle project (belonging or not to a Program), the Supply Chain Project Manager is managing all the supply chain aspects attached to the project. He is responsible to the Project and to the Industrial & Supply Chain Department for the achievement of the technical, economic & planning targets at the launch of the car. For that, he has :
- to challenge the input coming from partners of supply chain (engineering, brands, purchasing, …),
- to define SMART supply chain targets and deliverables, and validate them with the project, the plant and the other partners,

manage operationally the supply chain team of the project on both engineering and operations (PC&L).
- DETAILED MISSIONS

Challenge supply chain inputs (mix and volumes, sourcing, technical conception for packaging optimization, diversity, …) coming from the partners (brands, purchasing, engineering, …)

Build supply chain “SMART” targets with Supply Chain departments & plants; act them with program/plants/Supply Chain staff and partners

Assess, plan & check the availability of required HR, skills & support

Manage the respect of the budget concerning supply chain HR, packaging investments, and transitory expenses, …

Manage the achievement of the supply chain costs targets concerning inbound & outbound

Manage the achievement of diversity targets assigned to the Project

Manage operational supply chain engineering deliverables in order to reach the technical & economic targets, in strict accordance with the project planning. Examples (complete list & details in Supply Chain SOD) :
- Inbound flows (including transportation & overseas flows) : Supplier code robustness, loops size, EDI, packaging validations, frequencies of transportation …
- Packaging: carry-over of existing containers, validation reports, availability of new containers, …
- Internal car’s flow: “General Functional Analysis” (“AFG”), assembly constraints, …
- Outbound: costs for distribution, “Transport Quality”, …
- Diversity: number of parts, respect of “Drive rules”, …
- Demand & Supply: sizing suppliers’ capacity, program’s robustness process, …
- Logistic operations for launch: logistic protocols, logistic parametrizations, …

Check the respect of the supply chain referential, and challenge them every time it seems necessary

Activate appropriate escalation every time it is necessary
- During the launch phase, manage PC&L teams dedicated to the project with a special focus on operational supply from pre-series till the end of the ramp-up
Skills Required
Experience in Supply Chain (Inbound Logistics)
Excel skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
English: minimum B2 (group official language)
A previous experience in the automotive industry is mandatory
