Supply Chain Operations Support

CookUnity is a chef-to-you marketplace connecting talented chefs with consumers, revolutionizing meal delivery. We bring small-batch, restaurant-quality meals to eaters nationwide, crafted by a diverse collective of all-star chefs. With over 100 inspired chefs from cities like NYC, LA, Austin, and more, our weekly subscription offers a wide range of hand-crafted meals to cater to various palates and dietary preferences.

By delivering over 1 million meals per month, we're also empowering working chefs, tripling their income, and supporting their growth. CookUnity believes in fueling stronger communities, partnering with Food Bank For New York City to combat food insecurity across all five boroughs.

About the team

The Supply Chain team owns the whole raw materials, packaging & all kinds of items (office/cleaning & kitchen) supply and its distribution to the chefs/fulfillment. It’s a high-impact role with the ability to communicate constantly between all different areas of CookUnity. Our customers use our digital experience weekly to find their favorite meals from our 300+ menu items, and the Supply Chain team is responsible for making that easy and smooth for the operation.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a full-time (40 hours/week) Supply Chain Operations Support with a self-reliance mindset who is willing to help and give support in handling operational tasks where strong Gsuite, specially Excel, skills are required to accelerate their development by working in a growing startup!

You're capable of supporting the sourcing supply chain management to reach company goals. You’re organized, super self-driven, can deliver, and have a “get stuff done” attitude.

Responsibilities

You enjoy being part of a team and understand that the impact of your work will help to make the organization better.

  • Get data ready to support Supply Chain analysis, contributing to reaching cost targets.
  • Own Ordering Process. Support and Execution of the Purchasing process, ensuring accurate quantities and timely delivery.
  • Monitor any shortage, help with replacements, and communicate it proactively to the Supply Chain team.
  • Track shortages with Receiving reports on a daily basis, and action consequently.
  • Update Purchase Orders based on vendor’s confirmations.
  • Assist with the Distribution Model Process.

Qualifications

  • Inventory Management & multi-tasking skills with great attention to detail and aptitude for numbers.
  • Intermediate/advanced user of Google Sheets/Excel
  • Experience in the food industry is a plus!
  • Since our HQ is located in the US, English is required.

 

Working Schedule

Days: from Sundays to Thursdays
Scheduling: 11:00  am to 8:00 pm (ET)
