    • Conduct NPI readiness assessments, ensuring supply chain processes, materials, and resources align to support product launches.
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks and bottlenecks that may impede NPI and future production timelines and objectives
  • Supply Chain Management:
    • Cultivate relationships with suppliers and VARs (Value Added Reseller) to secure timely component and material deliveries for NPI builds.
    • Implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
    • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service level agreements with suppliers to drive cost savings and fortify supply chain resilience.
    • Collaborate with engineering to grasp new developments and validate BOM readiness.
  • Execution and Coordination:
    • Oversee NPI builds' execution, ensuring adherence to production schedules and maintenance of quality standards.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge NPI performance and pinpoint areas for continuous enhancement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Foster robust relationships with internal stakeholders, including Engineering, HW standard engineering, Supply Chain, and Sourcing, to foster alignment and synergy across functional domains.
    • Serve as a conduit between departments to facilitate communication and troubleshoot issues encountered during the NPI process.

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 6+ years' experience in supply chain management, with a focus on NPI or manufacturing operations.
  • Profound understanding of supply chain principles encompassing procurement, planning, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Background in the hardware or technology industry, preferably with familiarity in data center infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing NPI projects from inception to production, delivering results punctually and within budget.
  • Superlative communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross functional teams at all organizational tiers.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving aptitude, with a penchant for data interpretation and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, SAP, Oracle) is advantageous.
