What will you do?
As a Demand Planning & Forecasting Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our supply chain and business operations. You’ll be responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and coordinating cross-functional teams to align procurement, fulfillment, and financial plans. Your insights and forecasts will directly impact our business strategies, helping us make data-driven decisions that drive growth and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Commercial team to develop accurate and effective demand forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
- Support management with risk assessments and develop strategies for mitigating potential challenges.
- Propose and implement solutions to improve the accuracy of demand forecasts.
- Clearly communicate key demand forecast elements (baseline, marketing pushes, seasonality, new area expansions, etc.) to leadership and stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on key changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
- Work closely with the Procurement team to develop monthly procurement plans and schedules, ensuring target inventory levels are aligned with demand forecasts.
- Coordinate with the Fulfillment team to manage capacity and schedule inbound and outbound activities.
- Collaborate with Finance to finalize monthly P&L and capital requirement plans.
- Manage the monthly demand, supply, and financial planning process.
- Lead daily cross-functional execution, ensuring monthly plans are executed smoothly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain roles.
- Strong understanding of demand management practices and forecasting techniques.
- Solid mathematical and statistical knowledge.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in agribusiness is a plus.
