Orbisk Zero food waste is hiring a

Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist

Utrecht, Netherlands

At Orbisk, we don't just talk trash; we tackle it! We're not just gossiping about who ate the cake; we're on a mission to slash food waste in the hospitality industry. As a certified B-Corp, we're leading the charge in sustainability. Our goal? To shake up the world by using our solution (got to love our Orbi) to tackle food waste head-on. With about 50 colleagues at the moment, we're already making an impact internationally, and it's a wild ride full of opportunities and challenges!

Orbisk isn't just about technology; we are a driver for sustainable change, contributing to a positive transformation around the globe. Our hardware already helped eliminate over 735,000 kg of food waste, and we’re just getting started!

As our first Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist , you'll be part of the Tech team, reporting to our Head of Engineering. Your role is quite critical to us! You will help us identify and make structural improvements related to the ordering, assembly, and shipping processes for our hardware with the goal of reducing overall replacements. In this role you will be wearing a few different hats! During a typical week, you will split your time between maintaining partnerships with prominent parts suppliers, organizing shipments, & collaborating with our third party assembly partner, EACH, to ensure everything is going smoothly. And, since we are growing, in the near future you will be responsible for ensuring our logistics are top notch in 40+ countries globally! Exciting, right?

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a scale-up with supply chain & logistics management, specifically focused on quality control & compliance, as well as cost control

  • Good understanding of working with hardware in the context of logistics & supply chain

  • Strong project management skill set

  • Fluency in English is required, both verbally and written.

Why Join Orbisk?
For a whole menu of reasons. Some lofty (reducing food waste also reduces our collective CO2 and H2O footprints), others more down-to-earth. After all, joining a scale-up is also just plain fun. And a great conversation starter. Especially if that team is as driven and adventurous as ours. We offer a bunch of other cool stuff too:

  • 4000 - 5000 per month incl. holiday allowance (depending on knowledge and experience).

  • 40 hour work week in a hybrid office setting, lunch included.

  • 30 days of annual leave per year (based on full time).

  • Pension contribution of 7%.

  • Alleo flexible spending budget of €40 per month for various health, wellness, and lifestyle providers.

  • Free Headspace subscription.

  • Annual personal education budget of €500 plus additional team learning activities and career coaching.

  • Annual home office budget of €250 and travel allowance for remote work.

  • Regular company activities to connect and have fun with colleagues.

Sounds like a job for you? If you've got the expertise to help us reach new heights, we can’t wait to tell you more about our exciting plans. Don't be a stranger—hit that apply button.

For recruitment agencies, we appreciate your hunger to help, but we're on top of our own recruitment game, so no need to ask if your help is needed. It's really not needed :)
