The Supply Chain ESG Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and communicating Solidigm's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) supply chain business plan and strategy. This role will collaborate with cross-functional leaders to identify ESG compliance requirements and implement programs and processes aimed at collecting, monitoring, and reducing the organization's Scope 3 (upstream) emissions, resulting from the supply chain. The role will lead the development of the supply chain ESG and sustainability strategy that ensures that business practices, products, and services align with the Solidigm's objectives and with ESG regulatory and compliance requirements. In doing so, the individual will promote a supply chain ESG and sustainability philosophy to internal and external stakeholders. The role manages both the development of strategic direction, as well as the tactical implementation of the plan.
Responsibilities
- Identify ESG compliance and industry standards that apply to Solidigm's supply chain and drive efforts to comply with ESG regulations and industry standards that apply to supply chain activities
- Develop and execute the supply chain ESG strategic plan with a focus on environmental sustainability and meeting established enterprise goals around chemicals, waste, and greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction and carbon neutrality/net zero targets in addition to other environmental and social impact goals
- Provide subject matter expertise and content for training materials to educate internal teams around sustainable claims verification, marketing, best practices, insights and peer benchmarking findings
- Manage work streams related to supply chain ESG, including the topics of Scope 3 decarbonization and human and worker rights, and client functional needs related to supply chain transparency and traceability, procurement, supplier engagement and collaboration, and technology solutions; help ensure timely execution of project deliverables

Manage day-to-day project work and collaborate with highly skilled teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide direction to clients on the topic of supply chain ESG, including the business drivers and benefits, market as well as technical requirements and constraints, and the regulatory environment
- Facilitate internal efforts to drive ESG integration in other supply chain functional services including strategy, inventory planning, and logistics and distribution

Assist with proposal and business development activities that apply to supply chain activities

Support go-to-market activities, including thought leadership and sales campaigns, with senior oversight to drive supply chain ESG engagements and investments
- Manage and maintain ESG data collection tools that aligns with other supply chain/enterprise systems and tools
- Review, analyze, and audit supplier-reported data collected through annual ESG assessments
- Collaborate with others in supply chain and the enterprise to consolidate data for cohesive and complete ESG reporting
- Bachelor’s degree required or 5 years of direct relevant work experience in environmental sustainability will be considered in lieu of a degree
- 5+ years’ experience in ESG and sustainability, supply chain or product sustainability
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to lead matrix project teams of peers and other partners (internal and external) in a dynamic environment
- Superior analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, leadership, interpersonal and communication skills required
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically to deliver results
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Comfortable with reading data, entering data, extracting data, dashboard interpretations, and administrative control of ESG/ Supply Chain software solutions
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-oriented environment
- Exceedingly strong communication skills, presentation skills required
- Experience in GHG accounting in alignment with the GHG protocol and demonstrated ability managing product environmental or corporate responsibility-related programs for sustainable products strongly preferred.
For California, Colorado, New York, Washington, and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $107,450 to $169,240. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
