Position Overview:

Beam is seeking a highly motivated individual to join us as a Supply Chain Co-Op in our Beam NC Supply Chain team from January through June 2025. Reporting to the Global Supply Chain Planning team, you will support the team in ensuring production readiness from a holistic Supply Chain perspective, including production planning, raw materials planning, purchasing, and business systems in support of internal and external manufacturing of Drug Product and/or Critical Materials. Cross-functional collaboration will be critical for the success of this role as the qualified candidate will assist in new process development and process optimization activities.

Key learnings can include Lean Six Sigma and Project Management tools (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, RACI, SIPOC), SAP, Product Lifecycle Management, Program Management, Project Management, Communications, Change Management, Supply Chain and Global Manufacturing & Supply operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support design and enhancement of Global Supply Chain business processes.
  • Support development and implementation of analytical and digital tools that inform business decisions and enable business execution.
  • Provide project management and facilitation support to Global Supply Chain key deliverables.
  • Provide input and support for master data cleanliness activities.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory and logistics data accuracy.
  • Support planning system implementation and scaling.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels at optimal levels across network with focus on standardizing and optimizing overall process.
  • Support the generation of regular forecasts to ensure medium to long term supply.
  • Support new materials readiness and contribute to the production planning aspects of manufacturing including process order management, capacity allocation, and supply planning.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university for the duration of a co-op assignment pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Self-starter with good organization skills, project management, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills is required.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills; must effectively operate independently, across functional lines, and with internal customers.
  • Proficient computer skills (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word and windows-based software), SAP experience a plus.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Must be able to work onsite, not a remote role.
