🙌 The Role
Supplier Relationship Manager at Oodle Car Finance.
You will play a key role in delivering the best performance and customer outcomes from our outsource partners by working in collaboration with our supplier representatives, colleagues, and other key internal stakeholders. In this role you will be focus on improving and optimising services as well as overseeing assurance and governance frameworks.
The role will sit within our Recoveries and Remarketing function, reporting to the Recoveries Operations Manager. The typical suppliers that will be managed within this role include: Recovery Agents, Legal Agents, Auction Houses.
This role will require travel to both our Oodle offices in Manchester or Oxford and to supplier sites where necessary.
What you’ll be getting up to:

Create and manage a supplier governance framework aligned with company goals and objectives.

Collaborate with Procurement and key stakeholders to identify, select, and assess suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery criteria.

Work with Procurement and Legal to negotiate and manage contracts.

Continuously monitor supplier performance using KPIs, and implement improvements through reports, meetings, and analysis.

Drive cost-saving initiatives like strategic sourcing and demand management, while fostering a continuous improvement mindset in supplier management.

Build strong relationships with partners, act as a point of escalation, and ensure alignment with internal objectives and seamless communication across departments.

Use Data to support and drive decision making.

Lead customer review sessions with supplier and own the delivery of actions through completion.

Ensure suppliers comply with all relevant regulation.
The role will be a great fit if:

Previous experience of working within a regulated environment.

Previous experience in automotive and/or motor finance.

Previous experience of third-party relationship management.

A strong desire to support our customers.

Strong analytical skills and able to identify trends and create data driven business cases.

Excellent communication and listening skills, both verbal and written.

Able to negotiate and be a decision maker.

Strong attention to detail.

Great stakeholder managements skills.

Ability to prioritise workload and escalate concerns where necessary.
