Location: Applicants will be considered working in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow or London office.
The key objective of this role is to ensure our engagement with our suppliers and subcontractors embodies our values of responsibility, trust and excellence and provide effective management of Xodus' suppliers, supporting the hubs and divisions globally in the management of suppliers and subcontracts associated with their regions and projects respectively.
Primary Duties
· Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
· Work with project teams and business functions to select the most appropriate subcontractors and suppliers
· Maintain and update SAGE supplier details as required to ensure relevant information is accessible by the business
· Conduct supplier onboarding and prequalification audit considering compliance, quality, safety and performance
· Maintain and update the overall supply chain policies and procedures to ensure they meet the needs of the business
· Identify process improvements, propose and implement in a timely manner
· Planning, assessing, and organizing workload while delegating tasks to team members.
· Overseeing the development of team members and providing feedback.
· Provide tender/proposal support as required
· With contract advisors’ support, review and negotiate supplier requested qualifications to Xodus terms and conditions and ensure the best possible contractual position for Xodus
· Ensure main contract flow downs and statutory requirements are incorporated into subcontracts
· Advise and assist in resolution of subcontract performance issues and disputes that may arise
Supplemental Duties
· In conjunction with project managers closely monitor key subcontracts
· Internal supplier management training
· Maintain subcontract templates
· Participation in internal and external audits as required
· Support finance function with the implementation of Group wide improvements to financial systems and approvals process for purchases and payables.
Requirements
Qualifications, Skills and Behaviours
Professional Qualifications and Experience
· Previous experience in supplier management is important
· Previous experience in the upstream oil & gas industry and in offshore renewables
· Degree or professional qualification in Supply Chain Management, or similar relevant field desirable
· Able to demonstrate a solid understanding of the purchasing function and processes
