Domtar Plymouth is currently seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor for the Fiberline. The Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor directly supervises E & I personnel within their crew. This role is responsible to develop and continually improve the function of the department relating to all aspects of health and safety, environmental, quality, continuous improvement, proactive maintenance, procedures and policies, and best operating practices.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify and implement improvements across specified area of the Mill by working closely with operations and maintenance counterparts to schedule work that balances priorities between safety, environment, preventative and predictive maintenance, as well as corrective maintenance while focusing on cost reduction and managing emergency work.

Responsible for the performance and behavior of crew which includes setting targets and expectations, coaching, mentoring, training, scheduling, communicating and providing direction as required.

Provide day to day technical assistance, review requests for work, initiate and/support work planning activity and oversee the work order flow to completion.

Responsible for all health and safety aspects of their crew, including training, meetings, compliance, audits, observations and records.
- Motivate and develop crew into a competent maintenance and troubleshooting team as well as develop sound action plans.

Ensure a high level of communication with other teams in an effort to make the best decisions for the mill and create a culture of safety excellence.
Required Qualifications:
- Journeyman Certified Electrician or Journeyman Certified Instrumentation
- 2-3 years of Supervisory experience

Experience in maintenance systems development, implementation, and use.

Experience with PLC’s and related equipment.

Experience with Distributed Control Systems.
- Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office Suite, and experience in working with a computerized maintenance system (SAP)

Knowledge of controls, instrumentation, power systems, and distribution equipment.

Experience with low, medium, and high voltage systems.
