About The Role

The Summer Legal Associate role will impact G2 by bringing in-house the perspective of a law student who is currently learning directly from informed law school professors. The Legal Intern will have access to teachings of experts in the legal community which would be valuable to the company. As a member of the Legal team you’ll have 3 main projects:

  1. Assisting the legal department with creating, editing, and managing legal agreements, documents, and contracts. 
  2. Ensuring all company-wide legal documents are up to date.
  3. Working with the legal team as needed on any ongoing projects or pertinent tasks. 

Please note the following about the role: 

  • In office requirement at our Downtown Chicago HQ 5 days a week
  • Pay: $24.00 per hour / 40 hours a week 

In This Role, You Will: 

  • Conducting legal research on various topics, including artificial intelligence and intellectual property. 
  • Assisting in drafting and reviewing legal documents. 
  • Maintaining and updating various trackers, including ongoing litigation, pending legislation, and internal contracts. 
  • Assisting in the preparation of presentations, memos, articles, and reports for internal and external use. 
  • Providing general administrative support to the legal department. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
