Pixelogic was founded in 2016 as a next-gen media supply chain provider focused on premium localization and distribution services for features and series, including marketing materials such as trailers and TV spots. The company localizes content in over 60 languages and services all worldwide distribution venues and delivery formats. This includes support for digital cinema, physical media (DVD, Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray) and hundreds of digital media variants. Pixelogic employs nearly 700 full-time employees worldwide.

- Primary Responsibilities
- Proofread and edit content translated from English to Korean using a cloud based subtitling software for features, or episodic TV series. Utilize glossary tool for consistency across product as well as follow client style guide specifications.
- Ensure accurate and culturally sensitive translations that resonate with the target audience.
- Collaborate with the translation team to address language-specific queries and provide constructive feedback.
- Oversee and ensure that projects are finished as scheduled and within budget and up to internal quality standards.
- Review scripts, translations, final product upon completion to ensure the highest possible technical/linguistic standards.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive content.
Requirements
- Qualifications
- Korean/English bilingual.
- Minimum of 2 years of film/broadcast translation and/or proofreading experience required.
- Proven project management/coordination experience in localization industry.
- Knowledge of professional subtitling software highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in language-related field, e.g. translation, literature, journalism, etc.
- Good understanding and in-depth knowledge of language/country-specific cultures, known as localization.
- Attention to detail combined with the ability to work quickly to meet deadlines and a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A positive attitude when experiencing obstacles and enthusiastic to get things done.
- Passionate about customer experience and customer service excellence.
- Problem solver with creative and innovative approach with ability to think out of the box.
- Must be residing in South Korea.
