Job Summary
Responsible for the Proper operation of the substation.
Monitor the operations of the substation to ensure its functionality and output are stable.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Adjust controls to regulate the flow of power to the plant.
Control generator output to match the phase, frequency and voltage of electricity supplied to panels.
Monitor and inspect substation equipment and indicators to detect evidence of operating problems.
Co-ordinate with power supplier ENEO on daily basis regarding any power issues.
Maintain system logs or manuals to document testing or operation of equipment.
Maintain the clean lines of all areas of the plant and control room.
Ensure safety of personnel and equipment.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Engineer
Requirements
Academic / Professional Qualifications
Higher National Diploma (HND) or its equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Work Experience
Minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience.
Skills & Competencies
Very good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Very good oral and written communication.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
