ELEKS is looking for a Subject Matter Expert in Financial Practice with experience in Workday implementation in Poland, Croatia, or Ukraine.
ABOUT PROJECT
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Financial Practice to support the implementation of an ERP system (Workday). The SME will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful deployment of financial functionalities by providing expertise in financial processes, system configuration, and best practices.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience in financial operations and accounting
Experience in Workday implementation projects
In-depth knowledge of financial processes such as order to cash, procure to pay, budgeting, and financial reporting
Bachelor's or master's degree in finance/accounting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong business process analysis skills, with the ability to assess existing workflows and design optimized solutions
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
Self-driven and proactive approach to work, capable of managing tasks independently
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Professional certifications (CPA, CFA, ACCA) are a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as a financial expert in the implementation of the ERP system, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements
Work closely with stakeholders, including finance teams and external consultants, to design optimized solutions
Provide guidance on system configuration, reporting, and integration of financial data
Conduct gap analysis between current financial processes and ERP system capabilities
Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements within finance operations
Set up and implement best practices for financial processes within the ERP system
Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of the FDM to ensure accuracy and efficiency
