Strategy Manager - Resolution Planning (Hybrid)

As a valued leader on our team, you will manage a team who is responsible for implementing the strategic planning and execution for Fannie Mae or business units within the organization. In this role, you will manage cross-functional strategic execution, as well as engage project teams and stakeholders to advance business initiatives.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Strategy Manager - Resolution Planning (Hybrid) role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Manage workstreams to ensure timely program execution of resolution planning requirements, including the biennial resolution plan submissions to FHFA and related regulatory obligations.
  • Draft well-written resolution-specific materials, such as biennial plans, playbooks, and governance documents. 
  • Interpret forecasted financial data, such as balance sheets and cash flows, and assist with market and liquidity risk analyses and processes.
  • Manage the implementation of strategic goals and vision for business units and/or the enterprise.
  • Participate in strategy development and strategic plan formulation, as well as manage the execution of business objectives.
  • Manage the process to identify resources to support strategic goals and new initiatives.
  • Collaborate with your team and internal partners on unit's production, activities, and efforts.

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 6 years

Skills

  • Collective capabilities for leadership, including leading teams, giving feedback, facilitating meetings, and coaching and mentoring
  • Operational Excellence including improving and overseeing operations
  • Skilled in documentation and database reporting for the purposes of analysis, data discovery, and decision-making with the use of relevant software such as Crystal Reports, Excel, or SSRS
  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
  • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
  • Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Experience in the process of analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data
  • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
  • Business Insight including advising, designing business models, interpreting customer and market insights, forecasting, benchmarking, etc.
  • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
  • Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in effort to meet strategic objectives

Tools

  • Experience using SharePoint
  • Skilled in Tableau
  • Skilled in Excel

 

Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • 6-year Finance related experience 
  • Market Transactions, Liquidity Risk Management, Treasury, or Accounting field
  • Operations, Compliance and Risk Management
  • Database Management Tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, and Confluence)
  • Research and Analytical
  • Problem Solving
  • MS tools (e.g., Excel and PowerPoint)
