Role Overview
At QUALCO, we empower the financial world with innovative technology. As a Strategy Analyst, you will be part of our Strategy team in Athens and you'll play a crucial part in supporting the Groups' strategic plans with valuable market insights.
A Day in the Life of a Strategy Analyst at Qualco will include:
- Conducting and coordinating comprehensive market research to understand industry trends, emerging technologies, customer needs, regulatory environment, and competitive dynamics.
- Estimating market size (TAM/SAM/SOM), for new and existing products, providing critical insights into the potential for market entry or expansion by analyzing primary and secondary data sources, leveraging market intelligence tools, and applying market segmentation techniques, coordinating any external resources as necessary.
- Analyzing large datasets from various sources (market data, internal KPIs, competitive intelligence) to identify growth opportunities and product-market fit.
- Conducting SWOT analyses, market sizing, and segmentation to prioritize the most attractive growth opportunities for the company.
- Collaborating with leadership to define long-term growth strategies, including product roadmap development and market expansion initiatives.
- Leading the development of go-to-market strategies for both new and existing product lines, identifying target markets, pricing strategies, and sales channels.
- Synthesizing information from competitors' strategies, pricing models, product features, and customer feedback into actionable recommendations for the company’s product portfolio and market positioning.
- Performing ongoing business performance analysis to measure the success of strategic initiatives and product launches, tracking KPIs and identifying areas for improvement.
- Developing performance dashboards and reports that communicate insights to senior leadership, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Conducting root cause analysis on underperforming areas of the business, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams (product, sales, marketing, and finance) to ensure alignment of strategic objectives with operational execution.
- Translating complex business data and market insights into clear, actionable recommendations for executives and business unit leaders.
- Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
Requirements
What we are looking for ·
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, strategy, or market research roles preferably with consulting experience at a Big 4 firm or a top-tier consulting firm in relevant departments such as strategy, management consulting or market research
- Strong business analysis skills, including business case development.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and familiarity with market research databases, tools and methodologies.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize complex data and present clear, actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to convey complex business concepts in a simple and impactful way.
- Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to break down complex problems and identify root causes.
- Business-savvy and results-oriented, with a proven ability to deliver actionable recommendations that drive growth.
- Highly collaborative, with the ability to work across departments to achieve common business goals.
