JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title:Strategist, Player Development Department:Player Development
Reports to:Director, Player Development
Status: Exempt
Primary Objective: Responsible for providing coordination, support and assistance to minor league player development operations as well as collaborating with our scouting group.
Essential Functions:
• Assist with player plan process by providing information on player performance and providing a path forward for development
- Analyze individual performance throughout the season while being able to provide both positive and negative flags in performance. Collaborate with our coordinator/coaching group on the flags and help discuss next steps.
- Assist with amateur/professional player analysis and provide a context and a plan for what PD’s next steps with a newly acquired player would be.
- Track daily transactions for all minor league rosters, placements, assignments, and releases across all organizations.

Provide people leadership while collaborating with our coordinators and coaches.
- Design, create and implement the Focus Points book and Peak Performance manual.
- Will perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree required. Equivalent, relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education requirements if approved by management.

One (1) year relevant experience required.

Basic Spanish proficiency
