AJW Group is looking for a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Manager (SSM) to oversee an allocated portfolio of suppliers and spend categories. In this pivotal role, you will translate the AJW Group procurement strategy into a comprehensive and actionable plan, ensuring we continue to excel in a competitive market.
What You’ll Do:
Negotiate & manage supplier contracts: Lead negotiations and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with contract terms.
Achieve cost savings: Drive cost savings on an annual basis in line with departmental objectives and deliver measurable results.
Develop market insights: Gain in-depth market knowledge for your assigned suppliers/categories, using this to create strategic advantages for AJW Group.
Manage supplier relationships: Oversee supplier performance, monitor key metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and conduct audits as needed.
Enhance performance & mitigate risks: Focus on improving cost efficiency, contractual quality, delivery performance, and minimizing risks in your area of responsibility.
