Develop and execute the sourcing strategy for all the Carbon Clean product lines with a specific focus on building and managing the supplier portfolio for Engineering-Procurement-Fabrication (EPF) supply.
Key Responsibilities and Outcomes
- Develop and execute a sourcing strategy that will meet Carbon Clean business needs (capacity, price, service levels) for the EPF supplier base
- Lead all the activities within the strategic sourcing process and ensure cooperation with key stakeholders, from suppliers scouting, selection and approval, contracting and phase-out
- Lead all the contracting activities with the approved vendors and achieve Master Service Agreements, Strategic Supply & Purchase Agreements, Price list agreements, Capacity agreements
- Monitor commodities and supply market trends, develop and maintain a should cost model for key selected products and services to minimize TCO (Total Cost of Ownership). Proactively engage with suppliers on action plans to meet Carbon Clean product and service cost targets
- Monitor suppliers performance on Capacity, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Lead Time metrics, and ensure action plans are developed and executed to meet the performance targets
- Develop a supply chain risk mitigation plan as an integral part of the sourcing strategy and lead its execution to de-risk supply chain operations
- Establish and sustain key supplier relations and ensure suppliers performance reviews and business reviews are regularly performed to meet contracted capacity and level of service
- Be part of our continuous improvement expertise – we are currently developing fundamental supply chain practises and require innovative and thoughtful input via utilisation of relevant experience.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you should have a combination of the below knowledge, skills, and experience:
- Experience and track record in an equivalent role leading strategic sourcing or procurement activities within a comparable industry
- Experience and track record in setting up strategic partnerships with suppliers and negotiating master service agreements and strategic supply agreements
- A strategic thinker with excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Great analytical capability with a solution-oriented problem solving mindset
- Self-guided, self-organized and proactive team player
- MSc in Engineering or Business Administration
- Certification from APICS (CSPS), ISM (CPSM) or similar body considered a plus
- Willingness to travel (up to 2 weeks a month)
