As a Sales Director within the US Strategic Sales team, you will be responsible for selling Vimeo's Enterprise Video Platform into some of the largest organizations in North America. In this direct sales quota-carrying role, you will be primarily responsible for generating new business , along with contract expansion of existing Vimeo customers through introduction of complementary products and services. The Vimeo Sales Director should have strong communication skills and a desire to help customers achieve their business goals. The ideal candidate is highly driven, persuasive and passionate!
What you'll do:
- Exceed sales quota targets by selling Vimeo's Enterprise Video Platform (https://vimeo.com/enterprise)
- Convey Vimeo’s unique value proposition to customers and handle objections
- Position solution against contending offerings in marketplace
- Prospect and conduct outbound sales efforts to drive new pipeline in coordination with SDR
- Identify opportunities for expansion by upselling and cross-selling additional products/services to meet clients’ evolving needs.
- Work directly with leading brands and media companies to help them tackle their online video needs
- Maintain CRM data and pipeline accuracy within Salesforce
- Lead and interact with cross-functional colleagues to generate pipeline and execute campaigns in order to meet goals and objectives
Skills and knowledge you possess:
- 8+ years experience selling enterprise SaaS solutions and innovative technologies into large organizations with evidence of prior success.
- Knowledge of online video, livestreaming, advertising, marketing analytics, and technology companies
- Knowledge of various video buying personas such as Marketing, Corporate Communications, Learning & Development and HR
- Mastery and consistent execution of MEDDPICC sales methodology
- Strong belief in a customer-centric selling philosophy and consultative approach
- Proven experience introducing new concepts and building excellent client relationships at C-level within large enterprise organizations
- Account planning and territory management expertise
- Strong verbal and written communication, time management, organizational as well as presentation skills

This role will report to the Sr. IT Manager and work with stakeholders across the entire company on ensuring our fellow Vimeo employees are enabled to do their work and our systems are reliable. This includes training new employees during onboarding, shipping out employee equipment, managing Windows/Mac endpoints and administering systems such as Okta, Google Workspace and JAMF. This role is primarily on-site with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote per week..
What you’ll do:
- Respond to trouble tickets from end users ranging from requests for access to software and hardware issues.
- Assist with procurement, preparation and shipment of new hire equipment.
- Maintain Google Meet conference room equipment.
- Help manage employee Windows and Mac end-points in the office and remotely.
- Assist with administering access to company wide tooling.
Skills and knowledge you should possess:
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- 2+ years of experience supporting employees in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Slack, Google Workspace and Okta.
- Experience working with and troubleshooting MDM managed Windows and Mac workstations..
- Basic knowledge of computer networking/VPN..
Bonus points (nice skills to have, but not needed):
- Audio/Video Experience [Google Meet is a plus!]
- Experience with user life-cycle management.
- Genuine desire to learn and propensity for curiosity.
Base Salary Range:
- NYC Metro, Bay Area, Seattle, & Los Angeles: $137,000 - $205,000
- All other US cities outside above metro areas: $123,300- $184,500
This role also includes on-target commissions in addition to base salary.
