Strategic Sales Director

Full-Time

The Strategic Sales Director is responsible for sales and growth targets selling staff augmentation and IT Services within a Fortune 500 This role is accountable for executing the entire selling process to increase revenue with existing buyers and newly identified buyers within the account. They will work within a cross-functional team to increase year-over-year growth, find new business buyers within the account, and increase revenue with existing buyers. The candidate will have a strong track record of exceeding their sales targets while maintaining gross probability in the account

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy and goals for the account, identifying key relationships and new business units for expansion.
  • Exceed annual sales targets and gross profitability.
  • Develop and maintain relationships at the C-Level in the account.
  • Work with the partner community to bring new technology solutions to the client.
  • Responsible for targeting a select key accounts and evangelizing the Miratech value proposition with the goal of establishing an MSA in order to grow into a Strategic Account.
  • Drive the Strategic Sales planning process that results in deeper relationships and continually greater use of our services.
  • Manage clients gross profit growth, sales bookings, and long-term backlog. Collaborate with peers (in delivery) to maintain the client NPS at target levels and take/recommend action when necessary.
  • Build and lead cross-functional team under your control as well as other virtual team members including the sales team, partners, success manager, and delivery team in achieving account plan strategy and recommended communications with the client.
  • Understand the client environment, issues, and priorities to align with Miratech solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all management reporting requirements and monitor work according to company policies.
  • Collaborate with and support the delivery team to meet project goals and assure client success.
  • Work with marketing related to events, press releases, and publications about the client.
  • Manage an accurate forecast and pipeline for client opportunities
  • Perform regular planning and reporting as reasonably established by the company (e.g., provide reports as defined in the Strategic Account Plan, review HPA financial reports, collaborate with finance to ensure a quality financial outlook, and ensure quality data in the CRM).
  • Carry out other duties as may be reasonably required by the job.
  • A proven successful track record working in Fortune 500 financial services and insurance companies.
  • Demonstrate ability to exceed annual sales quotas.
  • Successful experience leading global business growth in IT services, outsourcing services, professional services, team extension, and/or other technology-related services.
  • Relentless in the execution of growth plans and achieving goals. Able to solve a wide range of difficult problems in imaginative and creative ways, exercising judgment within broadly defined practices and policies.
  • Ability to learn quickly. Excellent judgment, negotiation, and closing skills. Strong communication skills – ready to understand, interpret, clarify and ensure that the client’s requests are heard and understood.
  • Strong knowledge of the IT services industry. A strong understanding of the IT solutions, outsourcing, and professional services business model.
  • Background in Customer Experience and Digital Tranformation is helpful.
  • Mastery of the sales and success management process, strong communication skills, and the ability to interact with engineering and management, from staff to the C-Suite.
  • Team leader and builder. Superior organizational skills.
