Strategic Marketing Analyst
Our Strategic Marketing Analyst will compile, and study data related to our marketing efforts, website and advertising results, market segments, key account and audience interactions, competitive landscape, and industry trends. They will then use that data to provide insights and recommendations that guide informed decision-making when planning and executing targeted marketing campaigns. They will also be responsible for monitoring key marketing metrics to measure, evaluate, and communicate marketing campaign performance. Qualified candidates will be comfortable compiling and evaluating marketing data and related analyses. They will collaborate with both the marketing and sales teams regularly and will often interact and communicate with cross-functional stakeholders, including the executive leadership team. They will be a team player who is able to take direction and work independently as well.
Responsibilities for the Strategic Marketing Analyst
• Work with Sales, Marketing, and Product leaders to develop and maintain a comprehensive dashboard with visualizations of our performance relative to our KPIs and marketing efforts
• Compile data from different sources including Salesforce, advertising channels, and the website into Tableau and other visualization tools
• Analyze sales funnels and customer intent to identify gaps and room for improvement throughout the buyer journey
• Measure ROI of marketing campaigns and digital advertising efforts
• Report on marketing KPIs like leads, conversion rates, website traffic, and social media engagement
• Monitor budget distribution and performance of paid ad campaigns
• Conduct competitive research and analyze benchmarking data
• Recommend website and campaign optimizations
• Work closely with sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities for new client acquisition
• Implement a standard format and cadence for marketing analytics reporting and communication
Qualifications of the Strategic Marketing Analyst
• 5+ years work experience as a Marketing Analyst or similar role
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Proven analytical abilities
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Experience with sourcing data and using Salesforce/Pardot (or other CRM/Marketing Automation Tool)
• Experience and familiarity with Google Analytics and Looker Studio
• 3+ Experience and familiarity with Tableau or other visualization tools

• Highly organized with the ability to meet multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
