We are looking for a Strategic Finance Manager who will be a key strategic business partner for our advertising product line (LinkedIn Marketing Solutions). As a member of this team, you will partner with cross functional teams and be the point person for maintaining, analyzing, and communicating relevant business and performance metrics for your product lines, clearly explaining the business reasons for variances and adjusting forecast models accordingly, building and expanding various revenue models, and providing strategic analyses and recommendations to our key stakeholders.

You will be directly involved in the coordination of the various product strategy plans and planning cycles (annual planning and weekly/quarterly forecasts), as well as overall business performance management. Strict attention to detail, an ability to set and meet tight deadlines, a curious mindset, and go-getter attitude are important for your success.  

​​Responsibilities: 

  • Act as a key business partner to Product and Engineering leads as well as other stakeholders to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations 
  • Track and analyze key financial and business metrics for your product lines and drive accountability on business performance across cross functional teams 
  • Perform diagnostic and drive actionable resolutions, as well as proactively identify opportunities for improvement
  • Establish processes, and implement tools and systems to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial planning and strategic business reviews; own model updates and drive discussion on weekly, monthly and quarterly management reviews 
  • Develop a deep understanding in business drivers, and be able to communicate and explain the underlying drivers for actual vs forecast variances to management team 
  • Conduct in-depth analysis by leveraging large datasets and provide business insights to help stakeholders make business decisions for short and long term

Basic Qualifications:  

  • BA/BS degree in finance, statistics, business or relevant work experience
  • 6+ years financial analysis experience with strong financial modeling and presentation skills
  • Strong data analysis skills including experience in interacting with large datasets leveraging SQL and Tableau

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Background in investment banking, consulting, strategy and operations, or FP&A experience with forecasting revenue and analyzing key business drivers
  • Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, teamwork, organizational and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to demonstrate thought leadership and manage relationships with senior stakeholders 
  • Adaptable and able to react quickly to changing business needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to seek information independently, connect the dots, solve conceptual problems and consider options for improvement 
  • Proven ability to coordinate and execute projects independently, effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and autonomously perform within tight deadlines

The pay range for this role is $109,000 to $178,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
