Let's start with the role
In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in Kaizen's strategic planning cycle, performing requirements-gathering exercises and analyses across all functions. This is a great opportunity if you're ready to take on a groundbreaking role within our organization, with a broad spectrum of opportunities as part of an expanding corporate function. The successful candidate will work closely with department teams, including the PMO and Operational Excellence, to provide a continuum between strategic insight and execution.
As a Strategic Business Analyst, you will:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to formulate and capture annual objectives in accordance with our internal strategic planning framework. Standardize, improve and communicate the framework and the process. Keep all stakeholders informed and involved as needed.
- Create executive summaries, dashboards and reports to track progress against strategic objectives and associated KPIs. Support regular and ad hoc strategy reviews and communications.
- Perform analyses and requirements-gathering exercises to provide actionable insights in the context of strategic priorities. Build business cases in support of various strategic initiatives.
- Develop business-specific market, product and customer knowledge to serve the needs of internal stakeholders. Present findings to internal stakeholders in an effective and understandable manner.
- Proactively contribute to the establishment of best practices across all areas of responsibility.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Consultant or similar, ideally with a top-tier strategy consultancy firm and/or the central strategy team of a digital organization.
- Experience with strategic frameworks, strategic planning, analysis design and business case development; familiarity with OKR and/or 4DX planning models will be considered a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills combined with sound decision-making.
- Comfort in collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the organization and facilitating engagement towards a specific outcome.
- Outstanding organizational and project management skills, with experience delivering accurate and timely output to a high standard in fast-paced environments. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Familiarity with online sports betting and casino products will be considered a plus.
