Mid-market Sales Executive (m/f) (D-A-CH Region)

Freshdesk is looking for passionate and entrepreneurial-driven sales professional. As a Sales Executive (m/f) you will play a leading role in accelerating Freshdesk's revenue growth across the D-A-CH region. In your role you will advocate multiple Freshdesk product-lines to mid-market clients in the D-A-CH region. You will champion our innovative products to make organizations more productive, efficient and customer-oriented. You will work hand-in-hand with marketing and sales development reps, you will be responsible for steering all aspects of the sales process including lead qualification, lead nurturing, business development, negotiation, closing and account handover. The position is based in the center of Berlin and you will report directly to the Managing Director for Continental Europe.

 

Your Role and Responsibilities:

 

  • Define and execute plans for your territory, and meet sales goals through managing and closing opportunities
  • Develop and manage your sales pipeline, by assessing, prioritizing and moving a large number of transactions simultaneously
  • Engage with senior managers on our marketing, sales and operations teams to design and execute campaigns. Help continually improve our internal and external processes
  • Become an advocate for our brand and an expert in customer service and CRM
  • Use resources effectively, including marketing managers, pre-sales and sales development reps to meet your individual sales goals
  • Provide regular reporting of pipeline and forecasting
  • Travel to customer locations and customer focussed events regularly

 

Our Perfect Match:

 

  • Bachelor’s required and Master’s degree desirable, ideally 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in an inside/field sales role in a high velocity sales environment. Saas software sales experience is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial, driven and passionate about sales, customer service and CRM tools
  • Enthusiastic about helping and serving clients, a high level of customer orientation and self-motivation, charming with a friendly persistence, excellent written and verbal communication skills, team player and strong collaborator
  • Act as a guide and strategic partner to your accounts by becoming intimately knowledgeable about their key business challenges
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced globally-dispersed work environment
  • Fluent in German and English, other language proficiency is a plus
