Strategic Account Director

The Strategic Account Director will focus on driving growth by expanding revenue within our existing client base in close partnership with the Account Management Team. This role requires a leader who takes ownership of growing a book of business, consistently seeks new ways to build meaningful partnerships, and identifies opportunities that create value for both our company and our clients. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to uncover new growth opportunities, drive upsells, and expand client relationships.

How you’ll Contribute: 

  • Partners with the Account Management Team taking ownership to manage and grow an existing book of business
  • Proactively iIdentifies opportunities to expand value and revenue by consistent collaboration to understand client needs, account health, and upsell opportunities
  • Actively explores new partnership avenues to enhance client partnerships and drive company impact 
  • Leverages CRM tools and analytics for meaningful conversations, and to propose tailored solutions that align with client goals
  • Builds and nurtures relationships to foster trust while evolving to the needs of our clients
  • Management of a sales pipeline is critical with ability to track, prioritize and follow-through
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments will prove valuable to the success of the role when defining strategy and executing upsells

 

Who you are: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, or related fields
  • Proven track record in sales, preferably within the SaaS or technology industry
  • Experience in account management, upselling, or cross-selling within a B2B environment
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with a high level of accountability and self-motivation
