POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Store Manager for Daily Thread at NYC Alliance Company LLC plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful operation of the store. This role encompasses the responsibility for developing sales strategies, managing day-to-day store operations, and providing exceptional customer service. The Store Manager will lead a team of associates, fostering a positive and motivating environment while aligning with the company's values and mission. Key responsibilities include managing inventory, loss prevention, payroll and scheduling, as well as visual merchandising to enhance the customer shopping experience.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Drive sales and achieve performance goals through effective leadership and strategic planning.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing tailored service and product knowledge.
- Mentor and train store associates to maximize productivity and store performance.
- Maintain operational compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring accuracy and minimizing loss.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION:
- At least 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a similar environment.
- Strong understanding of sales strategies and retail operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift and handle merchandise as needed.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on team development and motivation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
