Storage and Fulfilment Growth Manager

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop Growth Strategy: Formulate and execute a comprehensive growth
strategy tailored specifically for the storage and fulfilment segment, aligning with
the company's overall expansion objectives across multiple African countries.


2. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify key
trends, opportunities, and challenges within the storage and fulfilment sector in
target regions. Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making.


3. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture strategic relationships with key
stakeholders including storage providers, fulfilment centers, suppliers, and other
relevant partners. Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless
integration and alignment of services.


4. Business Development: Lead efforts to onboard new storage and fulfilment
partners onto the platform, negotiating terms and agreements to optimize
service offerings and enhance the value proposition for customers.


5. Customer Acquisition: Drive customer acquisition initiatives by implementing
targeted marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and partnerships to
increase awareness and generate leads within the storage and fulfilment
segment.


6. Retention and Upselling: Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer
retention and satisfaction, leveraging data analytics and customer feedback to
continuously improve service quality. Identify opportunities for upselling and
cross-selling additional services to existing customers.


7. Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track the
effectiveness of growth initiatives and ensure alignment with business
objectives. Monitor and analyze key metrics regularly, providing insights and
recommendations for optimization.


8. Market Expansion: Identify and evaluate opportunities for expansion into new
markets and territories within Africa, assessing market dynamics, regulatory
requirements, and competitive landscape to inform expansion strategy.


9. Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including
product development, operations, marketing, and finance to drive growth
initiatives and ensure alignment with overall company goals.


10. Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and
emerging technologies in the logistics and fulfilment space. Continuously seek
opportunities for innovation and improvement to maintain a competitive edge in
the market.

 

Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related
field. MBA or relevant post-graduate qualification would be an added advantage.
● Proven track record of success in driving growth initiatives, preferably within the
logistics, e-commerce, or technology sectors.
● Strong understanding of storage and fulfilment operations, logistics processes,
and supply chain management principles.
● Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and
make data-driven decisions.
● Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective
growth strategies.
● Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability
to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
● Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes and
achieving targets.
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving
business needs.
● Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other local languages is a plus.
● Willingness to travel as needed
