Stockperson and Farm Machinery Driver

Kepak Farm is seeking to recruit a Stockperson and Farm Machinery Driver to join the team at Caulstown, Dunboyne, Co. Meath. This is an exciting opportunity to join a young innovative team and to learn and practice new farming techniques on a large beef finishing unit. The ideal candidate must be motivated, capable of working to very high standards and willing to work as part of a team.

NOTE: Location is not accessible by public transport. Access to own transport required. Must hold full, clean driving license

The Role will include:

• Carrying out daily feeding routines
• Herding and handling livestock
• Maintenance and hygiene of yard and machinery.

• Working as part of the team to ensure daily routines are carried out on time and to the standards expected.

Requirements

Key Skills/Experience Required:

• Strong Work Ethic
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Capable and comfortable operating farm machinery

• Previous farm experience essential

Other Requirements:

• Must hold full, clean driving license
• Have experience managing livestock
• Be familiar with modern farming practices
• Interest in Agriculture and Farming
