Stock Control Specialist

Do you have excellent attention to detail and experience in stock control? We are looking for a dedicated individuals to join us at Huboo as a Stock Specialist! Within this role you will be responsible for stock investigations, carrying out stock takes and finding solutions when there is no clear path.

The Stock Control Specialist position is based in Severn Beach, BS35 4EL

Key responsibilities for our Stock Specialist:

• Stock counting.
• Working with stock expiry dates (Batch Control)
• Cycle counting.
• Manual counting.
• Investigating stock variances.
• Understanding the stock counting and stock control process.
• Interrogation of stock systems.
• Generating reports and making recommendations for risk mitigation.
• Objective auditing of the operations stock management.

Requirements

What we look for in our Stock Specialist:

• Experience in stock control, stock management.
• Experience in working with Batch Control.
• Forklift license. (Desired but not required)
• Experience in perpetual inventory would be a real bonus although we will train you up if not.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to new stock processes and work accurately in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Publisher software packages.
• Have strong reading, writing and communication skills.
• Confidence to get a point across in a respectful manner.
• Committed to continuous growth and learning.
• You understand that every challenge is an opportunity.
• Ensure privacy and security practices are always followed.
• Full driving license and access to transport.
