We are seeking a skilled and experienced Stationary Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of stationary engines, boilers, and other mechanical equipment in industrial or commercial buildings. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based
on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
Shift: 12 hour Rotating Shifts. 7am-7pm and 7pm - 7am | 3 days on 2 days off | Rotates: Weekdays and Weekends | It's 24/7 operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain stationary engines, boilers, and other mechanical equipment to provide utilities such as light, heat, or power for buildings and industrial processes.
- Monitor and inspect equipment to ensure it is operating efficiently and safely.
- Perform routine maintenance, including lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Monitor and control building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
- Adjust controls and valves to regulate the flow of fuel, air, and water.
- Test boiler water and add chemicals as needed to prevent corrosion and scale.
- Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs.
- Coordinate with other maintenance staff and departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and technological advancements.
Qualifications:
- Valid stationary engineer’s license as required by local regulations.
- Proven experience as a stationary engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, boilers, and stationary engines.
- Proficiency with tools and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces.
Preferred Skills:
- Additional certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Knowledge of energy conservation practices.
