State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)

We’re looking for skilled, compassionate State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) who desire a career that matters in a community that values their expertise. Our Small House Neighborhood is an elder care community unlike any nursing home or elder care institution you have seen before. As an STNA, you will experience a much lower ratio of care giver to resident than other places hiring STNAs.  

Shifts available: Part Time 2nd  Part Time 3rd     $3.00 2nd and $1.50 3rd shift differentials

• Providing high-quality care and safety to elders
• Presenting elders with choices and decision-making opportunities
• Engaging in interesting and meaningful activities with elders
• Assisting the elders in getting up and going to bed when they want
• Planning and cooking their favorite foods and eating a meal with them
• Laundry and light housekeeping tasks

• Education: High school diploma/GED
• Certification: State Tested Nursing Assistant certification required 
• Good documentation, communications, and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to use tools and equipment required
