The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Technical Recruiter to support our hiring efforts on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in recruiting for technical roles, specifically managing full-lifecycle recruitment. This role will involve partnering with hiring managers to understand their needs, sourcing and screening candidates, and ensuring a seamless hiring process. Additionally, this Staff Technical Recruiter will primarily support iOS and android positions, but may also support other technical disciplines including Machine Learning, Web, Backend, and Data engineering as needed.
Where you’ll work:
This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration two times per week in our Palo Alto or West Hollywood office. Contract duration is 4 months.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand technical role requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Source and attract candidates through various channels
- Conduct thorough screenings and interviews to evaluate candidates’ technical skills, experience, and values-add.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from posting job openings to extending offers and negotiating terms.
- Provide an excellent candidate experience by maintaining clear and timely communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Utilize ATS (Lever) to track and manage candidate progress.
You’ll need:
- 8+ years of experience in technical recruiting, preferably in a high-growth tech environment.
- Strong understanding of technical roles and the ability to evaluate technical skills (specifically in Android and iOS)
- Proficiency in using various sourcing tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ATS software (e.g. Lever, Greenhouse)
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Experience leading end-to end recruitment processes and experience developing comprehensive recruitment strategies for niche roles.
- Successful management of high-level candidate negotiations.
- Utilizes data driven insights to lead cross-functional recruitment improvements.
