Role Overview

Oversee/manage persuasion of relevant IT businesses and management of projects and make final decisions for system integration and work improvement to provide optimal system environment and stable/efficient operation of deployed systems. 

 

What You Will Do 

  • Design and oversee the architecture for in-house services as a system engineer. 
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues in cloud environments, perpetually enhancing the operational landscape. 
  • Collaborate with employees across various domains to design in-house services.
  • Serve as Cloud Engineering for Cloud infrastructure Architecture, Design and Deployment and maintenance for highly reliable and scalable applications. 
  • Modernize existing in-house system architecture. 
  • Enhance the CI/CD environment through the efficient utilization of monitoring and testing tools, while proposing process automation. 
  • Experience in DevOps tools like Jenkins, ArgoCD, Helm, Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus, Terraform, One of the cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), Ansible, Github.Provides technical expertise and takes responsibility to enable the design, planning, implementation, integration, configuration and production support of infrastructure services across the IT workspace/customer communication and collaboration toolset 
  • Ensures logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total infrastructure solutions that acknowledge technical constraints 
  • Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, and requirements allocation and interface definition studies to evaluate compliance of system specifications with customer requirements 
  • Analyzes effectiveness/efficiency of infrastructure program procedures and processes and develops/recommends improvements. 
  • Investigates problems in infrastructure and services and assists with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures 
  • Contributes to the planning and implementation of maintenance, migration and installation work, includes building and management of systems and components in live environments while ensuring system integrity and security 
  • Perform system reviews of client environments and prepare findings documents outlining short and long-term strategies under consideration of global standards 
  • Uses tools to determine to monitor infrastructure component’s utilization and performance statistics with regards to agreed SLA 
  • Maintains and documents system information in line with compliance requirements as well as quality assurance and advancement of standards 
  • Monitors hardware & software lifecycles and capacity and Supports cost optimization & ensure appropriate licensing 
  • Prepares presentations, reports, research, and other contract deliverables. 
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation. 
  • Develop System Architecture of AWS Deployment and system design documentation. 
  • Uses innovative approaches to solve complex problems 
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, effective communicator, excellent presenter and able to prioritize across multiple assignments 

 

Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management and overall 20+ years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. 
  • On prem data center technology experience, Subject matter expert for Virtualization and Storage but moderate experience in Database, AWS Migration, Cloud Technologies, Jenkin, Ansible, Containerization, GPU, NVIDA etc. 
  • Over 10 years of experience leading system design architecture, leveraging cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure) and must be AWS Certified professional. 
  • Should be well experienced on cloud Services EC2, EKS, SNS, Cloud Front, VPC, beanstalk, Autoscaling, Lambda,    
  • Over 10 years of experience in the Linux environment, along with building high-performance, highly available, and scalable distributed systems. 
  • Experience in implementing new data centers standards for new data centers and retrofit existing data center infrastructures and designing and supporting virtualized datacenter 
  • Experience of DevOps, Deployment of AWS Services, Management and Cost Modelling. 
  • Experience in VMWare vSphere / NSX / vSAN / DC Virtualization Technologies (vSphere; vCentre; ESXi etc.) 
  • Experience in maintaining applications/systems in clustered environments 
  • Multisite OS management and SAN/NAS storage administration 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferably AWS Architect with experience of deployment of services. 
  • Knowledge of VDI, MS AppV, ThinApp, Citrix, and other application virtualization technologies 
  • Knowledge in performing schema changes to MS AD & LDAP 
  • Understanding of networking protocols, setup and troubleshooting to include Cisco routing and switching devices, Cisco Firewalls, and switching technology 
  • Microsoft Server Administrator (Microsoft Certification (MCSE) preferred)
