The work:
The XRPL is a decentralized, public blockchain led by a global community of businesses and developers looking to solve problems and create value. Proven reliable over more than a decade of operation and closing over 90 million ledger, the XRPL offers streamlined development, low transaction costs, high performance, and sustainability.
We are looking for highly motivated and skilled C++ developer to join our growing engineering team to work on XRP ledger development and to ensure the XRPL can continue to reliably power the growing needs of the global digital economy.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Increase the capabilities, performance, scalability and reliability of the XRP ledger.
- You will be expected to participate in the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, technical design, C++ development, bug fixing, as well as functional and performance validations.
- Be part of the open source XRP ledger community, continuously raising the standards of engineering excellence by fostering best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
- Actively participate in code reviews to keep the high quality of our code base.
- Be a solid team player and passionate to help and mentor others for overall team success.
What you'll bring:
- 8+ years of overall experience in designing and developing complex distributed systems with recent 5+ years in C++ development
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or similar
- Excited about blockchains, the technical details and the potential benefits
- Attention to detail and a passion to engineering excellence
- Ability to independently solve highly complex problems with creative solutions
- Nice to have: Experienced in developing open-source software and contributing to collaborative blockchain communities.
